Moments that Matter Most
I know that there have been times in my life when I was too busy, too distracted, too troubled, too selfish to see what was right in front of me- a loving family that will always be there for me. Other things in my life come and go- a show, a boy, friends, and even where I live- but I know that no matter where I go, my family is always there for me. I can do better at being in touch. I need to take the time and invest more in our relationships! I'm sorry I'm not always as present in your lives as I should be. But I do think about all of you, where you are at, and what you are doing.
I think capturing moments and holding onto them is an important part to who we are. We begin to see the eternal perspective and enjoy the little time we have with one another. In a spiritual sense...this is why we go to church, are involved in our church callings, read our scriptures, go to general conference, attend the temple....to place ourselves in a position where moments can be readily available to us. There are moments in my life found in prayer, music, worship, and the peace of the spirit that I don't want to forget!
I like the idea that moments can be created. You don't have to wait for something to happen all the time. You can create your own positive world, even in the darkest of times.
ReplyDeleteI really liked this video. I like the idea of slowing down on focusing on the things that matter the most. I definately have found that this can be possible and you can still get your work done. And yes stacia, you do create moment; magical, memorable moments that matter.
