It finally came to me

I contemplated my book club choice for over a year and like always the answer came in the moment I needed to make a decision and also like always the answer came from Megan. Megan just enjoyed an author from a book club book that she just read in our ward and was recommended another book by the same author but in my beloved genre of fantasy. There couldn't have been a better match. The book has a good plot with some dystopian themes following nicely the trend we followed for a while in the ender's game and the hunger games. However it is not the same. 19 year old Finnikan the main character suffers the effects of a broken kingdom and a people in exile who have lost their identity and is soon caught up in a plot to regain their kingdom. As the editorial review states it "begins at a slow burn...then, suddenly, the action turns white-hot." So don't be deceived by a slow start that sets up the scene for a wild adventure.
